Breaks in the thick winter clouds where rare this deep into the season; it would normally be months yet before the grey let up and the clouds moves high enough up the mountains for the gale winds to break them apart. To have even a short burst of sun was glorious; he wasn't the only one taking advantage of it, if likely one of the only ones taking advantage by outright sunbathing in the snow. Fur for the win, it was thick enough on his back to keep the chill of the snow from his flesh, but thin and light enough on his stomach to really enjoy the weak winter sunlight.

Giggles filled the air along with the sound of the rather small female rolling right down a tiny nearby hill. As she rolled she collected all manner of snow on herself. As she reached the bottom of the hill and finally stopped rolling she looked down at herself and giggled again: her hair, and entire body was coated in a light layer of the white cold flakes, causing her to blend in for the moment.

Still giggling she stood to her feet, taking a second or two of swaying before the dizziness from rolling had stopped. She than ran right over to her father. "Daddy! I changed colors!", she exclaimed happily outloud, all before attempting to dive right on him.

----

Demi meanwhile had watched the rolling from nearby Flynn. She wasn't sprawled on the ground, simply sitting up. She didn't have a great love of snow, but she wasn't going to miss seeing how happy it made everyone else. While she couldn't be affected by the snow or cold in the physical sense, having no internal heating system or natural body heat caused her to own body to begin to rapidly change to match the air around her. So, at the moment she was beginning to become as cold as the area around her, depsite the jacket she had put on at Aisling's instance. She just hadn't been able to deny the face Aisling had given her filled with worry when Demi had been about to walk outside without a coat on or the "Mommy, you don't have fur! Wear this!", conversation that had gone on.

There was no denying the smirk on his face; expression strange because he was laying upside down and the snow was partially burying his face. Smirk of all teeth and not much else was a terrifying thing, if not for the air of calm amusement and the gentle swish of his tail; it was /not/ a wag, no. Of course not, he wasn't a dog after all. The tail moving and occasional shifting of his body was leaving the strangest looking snow angel ever in the snow; something that was highly amusing his inner kitten.

"You've learned a new trick.~ Can you change back now, dear?"

He'd been on his back long enough to just start feeling a gentle cooling on his back now; enough to have him flip around and sprawl on his side now, shifting so that he was curling around Demi and still able to watch Aisling play.
